Built in 1891 Argyle House is steeped in history, first known as the Argyle Temperance Hotel. It has evolved to a cosy bed and breakfast retreat in this charming village which is centrally located in the Cairngorm National park. Those who wish to take things a little easier could do a days riding on one of the Glenlivet Estate's many cycle trails which cater for all levels. For the thrill seekers the Lecht Ski Centre offers two downhill MTB tracks as well as fantastic skiing in the winter monthsDiscovering the the local area on two legs puts to in the heart of the Cairngorm's National Park with all it has to offer. The Glenlivet Estate also offers wonderful walks all around the village. Argyle House also provides a regular stop for those walking the Tomintoul Spur of the Speyside Way. You can also explore on four legs with Rosie at Highland Hooves pony trekking centre.
